With over 27 years of commercial mortgage banking experience, he co-founded Laureate Capital in September 1994 and facilitated the sale of Laureate Capital to BB&T (NYSE: BB&T) in the fall of 2000. A graduate of Catawba College with a B.A. in Business, Mr. Dennard was formerly a partner with Fleet Funding/ Mid-Atlantic from 1982-1994 and began his mortgage banking career with Wachovia Mortgage in 1978. He has served as chair for the Mortgage Banking Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and co-chair of the Freddie Mac National Advisory Council, in addition to numerous life company and capital markets style lender advisory councils.

Executive Vice President/Loan Production, serves on the Laureate Capital Board of Managers. Mr. Gracey runs the national loan delivery platform of Laureate Capital. He founded Mortgage Company of Indiana, which Laureate Capital acquired in July 1995. Mr. Gracey has been active in commercial mortgage banking since 1956, having held production and management positions with major companies in Indiana, Kentucky, and Missouri.

Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, serves on the Laureate Capital Board of Managers. Mr. Shaffer oversees all capital and corporate accounting functions at Laureate, as well as the human and information system departments. Mr. Shaffer received his BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mr. Shaffer is a registered CPA and has over 25 years of corporate banking and operations experience.

Senior Vice President/Loan Administration, is responsible for Laureate Capital’s Portfolio Administration, Escrow Administration and Investor Accounting and Reporting functions. Mr. Lovell has been instrumental in developing and managing the Cash Management department and Laureate Capital Information Management System. Mr. Lovell received his BS in Design from Clemson University and his MBA from the University of South Carolina.

MAI, Vice President/Chief Corporate Appraiser, Charlotte, NC office. Mr. Sullivan is responsible for commercial real estate appraisal, consulting and production support. Additionally, Mr. Sullivan, under the direction of the executive management team, provides a leadership role in the company's internal sales training activities and underwriting. Prior to joining Laureate Capital, he was a loan production manager for a life insurance company, a banker and commercial mortgage banker, and he had a private appraisal practice for many years. He received his finance degree from the University of Colorado and he holds the MAI designation awarded by the Appraisal Institute.

Vice President/Manager Information Systems, Charlotte, NC office. Mr. Cooper is responsible for the development, implementation and support of all software and hardware systems and networks. He maintains Laureate Capital’s technology infrastructure and ensures the security and integrity of all company databases, web applications and financial data. He joined Laureate Capital in May 2004, after seven years with Wachovia Securities, where he was responsible for investor reporting, cash management and escrow administration in their Real Estate and Financial Services group. Mr. Husak has over 15 years experience in commercial loan servicing and received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Vice-President/Director Asset Management, Charlotte, NC office. Mr. Roper joined Laureate Capital in May, 2007 and has over twenty years of experience in all facets of mortgage banking. Prior to joining Laureate he was a Vice-President/Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank of America, where he managed a commercial loan portfolio in excess of $7 billion. He has also managed a private equity commercial real estate portfolio that consistently produced annual returns in excess of 20%. He was the Chief Operating Officer of North Carolina Mortgage Corporation, and has also managed a residential mortgage portfolio for a $10 billion credit union. Mr. Roper has a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina.

Vice President/Closing Manager, Charlotte, NC office. Ms. Martin manages New Product Delivery and coordinates loan closing transactions on behalf of Laureate’s portfolio of lenders. She manages the closing staff in Laureate’s corporate office and its Atlanta office. She is responsible for the coordination of the applications, commitments and underwriting process of agency loans. Ms. Lomuscio joined Laureate Capital in June of 1998 after 13 years as commercial real estate paralegal for the McNair Law Firm, and she brought experience in the legal profession with an emphasis on commercial lending, real estate development contracts, and project finance.
